Welcome to the Office of First Year Advising and Exploration (FYAE)! Throughout your Freshman year, FYAE will be your academic advising office at the University of Central Florida. Your assigned first year academic advisor will communicate with you throughout the year about important dates, programs, and services. We encourage you to be proactive and participate in the comprehensive programming we have planned geared to helping you select a major and plan your course schedule.

For students admitted for Summer and Fall 2012, congratulations on your admissions to the University of Central Florida! FYAE advisors look forward to assisting you during your summer orientation session. Please visit Knight Source for more information on how to prepare to work with your academic advisor during orientation. You can visit the First Year Experience orientation website to plan your orientation date.
College Connections

It is important that you are connecting with your college advising office. Starting in May, this will be the office you work with for advising. Visit the College Connections website to learn more about your college advising office. If you have not submitted your summer and/or fall schedule to your college advising office, please go to the “submit schedule” link at the top of the website and submit your schedule. Your college advising office will review your schedule(s) and provide you with any feedback concerning your course selections.
