FYAE provides a variety of forms students can utilize to prepare for advising appointments and handouts to assist with declaring a major, reading a degree audit, taking class at another institution, and much more.
There are numerous policies and procedures that students must be aware of while at UCF. We have provided an overview of some the most important academic policies and procedures first-year students should know.
FYAE advisors commonly refer students to other campus resources and supplemental advising offices for additional assistance with their questions and concerns. We have provided a list of common campus referrals.
At the conclusion of a student’s first year at UCF the student will transition to the college advising office of his or her major. Undeclared students will be able to continue to meet with FYAE for major and career exploration advising only. College Connections provides contact information for the college advising offices and introductory videos or handouts to assist with your transition.
