The Welcome Expo, hosted by First Year Advising and Exploration (FYAE), showcases UCF clubs and organizations, departments, as well as local area businesses. This UCF tradition is held during the first week of fall classes and welcomes new and returning students to the UCF campus. This event is an excellent opportunity for you to advertise to the ever-growing population of UCF students in one centralized location. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Come and be part of the excitement and a UCF tradition!

The UCF Welcome Expo attracts an average of 3,000 freshmen and transfer students who are new to the UCF community and looking for businesses and services that may fit their individual needs. Join us in this UCF tradition and market your product or service to UCF students. We offer the following package options for local businesses to select from:

The Pegasus Package: 4 Spots Available!

  • $1,000 Full Trade worth of services and/or products + 6.5% sales tax
  • Package includes:
    • 3-hour rental with two 6’X30″ tables located on the outer corner of the venue separated from other vendors, student organizations, and on-campus departments
    • Your company logo on the FYAE Welcome Expo website as a participant of the event
    • A direct link to your company website on the FYAE Welcome Expo website
    • A one-day parking pass for on-campus parking

The Black and Gold Package: 20 Spots Available!

  • $600 + 6.5% sales tax
  • Package includes:
    • 3-hour rental with one 6’X30″ table located in the center of the venue among other vendors, student organizations, and on-campus departments
    • Your company logo on the FYAE Welcome Expo website as a participant of the event
    • A direct link to your company website on the FYAE Welcome Expo website
    • A one-day parking pass for on-campus parking

The Knight Package: 10 Spots Available!

  • $400 + 6.5% sales tax, plus $200 worth of trade of services and/or product
  • Package includes:
    • 3-hour rental with one 6’X30″ table located in the center of the venue among other vendors, student organizations, and on-campus departments
    • Your company logo on the FYAE Welcome Expo website as a participant of the event
    • A direct link to your company website on the FYAE Welcome Expo website
    • A one-day parking pass for on-campus parking

Vendors selecting a trade option (Pegasus or Knights Package) are required to submit an itemized invoice outlining service and/or product for trade upon request.

Please complete the vendor interest form above. A representative from First Year Advising and Exploration will contact you within 5-7 business days following your form submission to confirm your request and provide additional information.

Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Please reserve early!

 

Vendor Payment Options

Payment options include cash, check and money order. If paying by check, please make your check payable to the University of Central Florida. Please make sure to include Welcome Expo – Company Name in the ‘Notes’ section. Payments may be mailed to the following address:

Prize Presentation Opportunities

Throughout the Welcome Expo, prizes are given away through trivia contests. Generally, this generates a large crowd around the emcee and is an ideal opportunity to have many students around your table. By donating giveaways and prizes (i.e. tickets/passes, gift cards, products), you can greatly increase the amount of traffic and exposure for your company. If you would like to give away any prizes during the event, please message us at WelcomeExpo@ucf.edu.

 

This event is an excellent opportunity for your department or organization to advertise, promote your services and recruit from the ever-growing population of UCF students in one centralized location. There is no fee for Registered Student Organizations or UCF Departments to table. We do suggest that you bring promo items to boost traffic to your table. Request a table by completing our registration form.

Registered Student Organizations (RSO): Thank you for your interest in participating in the UCF Welcome Expo. Information on the RSO registration process will be sent out through the OSI email listserv to all RSOs. Check your listed RSO email account for registration information.
